The latest issue of Startups Magazine is devoted to smart tech, HR and legal issues. Managing Partner Vanessa Ganguin gives the magazine a rundown of 2025 UK immigration options for start-ups, scale-ups and entrepreneurs and a preview of upcoming changes to watch out for, including those outlined in the government’s Immigration White Paper.
“Over 36,000 businesses in the UK are owned by international entrepreneurs, highlighting Britain’s appeal as an innovation and growth hub,” writes Vanessa Ganguin. “While the opportunities are huge, navigating the UK’s legal and immigration landscape requires careful planning. As well as the routes below, there may occasionally be other paths to UK to settle in the UK such as family visas and ancestry, if you qualify. It’s always worth seeking advice to see if such shortcuts may be more expedient, but otherwise, these are the main work routes.”
Vanessa Ganguin proceeds to summarise the requirements and benefits of the main work routes startups, entrepreneurs and scale-ups can benefit from:
- Innovator Founder visas
- Global Talent visas
- Expansion Worker visas
- Scale-up sponsor licences
- Skilled Worker sponsor licences
