Vanessa is one of the most highly regarded experts in immigration law, with more than 25 years’ specialist experience in UK immigration. She is listed in Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal as a leading individual in her field.
Attracted to the compassionate side of the legal profession Vanessa spent her early years fighting asylum and human rights cases before developing her expertise in business immigration at a leading immigration firm and then co-founding Ganguin Samartin, before going on to found Vanessa Ganguin Immigration Law.
Vanessa is the Managing Partner of the firm and her breadth of experience and passion for her field ensures she provides the highest level of service to all of her clients, from corporate to private.

Amisha joined the firm having worked for some of the leading immigration practices in London and has 15 years’ experience in handling a diverse range of immigration matters for both corporate and private clients. Her client base has included high profile companies and individuals.
She particularly enjoys and excels in assisting businesses with their sponsor licence and compliance issues and assisting overseas businesses with their immigration needs around setting up a UK presence. A significant proportion of her work also consists of family settlement and nationality applications.
Amisha is always focussed on providing clients with a personalised and friendly service. Amisha writes articles about topical immigration matters.
After completing her law degree in London. Roberta completed the Generalist Advice Course at the Citizens Advice Bureau where she provided general advice on various legal matters. Roberta also provided advice at the University of Law’s Legal Advice Centre while studying her Legal Practice Course.
Following the completion of the LPC, Roberta worked as a paralegal at Ganguin Samartin where she assisted the firm’s solicitors with all legal matters relating to corporate/business and private immigration and nationality matters. Roberta now continues to work closely with Vanessa Ganguin at Vanessa Ganguin Immigration Law.
Dean has joined Vanessa at Vanessa Ganguin Immigration Law, having worked alongside her at Ganguin Samartin, developing a skillset in a wide range of immigration matters.
Prior to his career in immigration law, Dean competed as a triple jump athlete for the Great Britain junior athletics team and ranked in the UK’s top ten across several age groups.
He had his first insight into immigration law while working as a Student Immigration and Advice Assistant at UCL, and while working as a paralegal is completing his LLM Legal Practice Course. Dean enjoys working over the breadth of the Immigration Rules and using them to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
