Both Vanessa Ganguin and Philip Trott feature in the 11th edition of the Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom – published by Best Lawyers – the oldest global guide to the legal profession.
Vanessa Ganguin joins Philip Trott in the Best Immigration Lawyers section. Philip Trott has been recognised for his work in Immigration by Best Lawyers for 13 years now since 2009, with a specific focus on Business Immigration.
Vanessa Ganguin and Philip Trott are also ranked highly for Business Immigration in Chambers and Partners UK legal directory, as well as in their High Net Worth services guide, and other guides such as Who’s Who Legal and Legal 500.
Best Lawyers have used a purely peer review methodology for over 40 years for their legal profession guides. The methodology is designed to capture, as accurately as possible, the consensus opinion of leading lawyers about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical area and legal practice area.

The 2023 Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom guide contains 84 legal practice areas and has published statistics for the most searched areas of law in the guide.
Interestingly, immigration lawyers were the most searched on the online guide.
